Progressive Social Media and Digital Strategy in the Age of Misinformation and Short Attention Spans
Abstract
The research conducted will examine progressive social media strategy in the age of misinformation and short attention spans. Historical use of social media as a marketing tool and how it is being used today to effectively activate audiences. This examination will include a review of problems related to connecting with audiences, the challenge of a fracture media environment, and shortened attention spans. It will also include what is breaking through the clutter of the internet, how social media is used to battle misinformation and disinformation, and how it is utilized to create loyal audiences to be activated for action.
