Behavioral Intervention Techniques And Their Impact in Education Settings

Abstract

This project takes a close look at the main types of disabilities and carefully reviews research on how schools can help with behavioral issues. It focuses on how these interventions work, their benefits, and what's important for putting them into practice. The project also considers fairness and ensuring that all students have equal access to these interventions. It looks at different approaches, such as Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, systems that give students different levels of support, contracts that help students behave, and ways to teach social-emotional skills. The goal is to help teachers, school leaders, and decision-makers use proven methods to improve behavior and learning in schools. By understanding what works and what doesn't, we can make better decisions about how to support students with disabilities and help them succeed. The project brings together ideas and research to give clear advice on how to put these strategies into practice and what to study next. It's a guide for educators and leaders who want to make a positive difference in their schools.
