The Necessity of Quality Early Childhood Education, Parental Engagement, and Nationwide Quality Standards and Practices
Abstract
Early childhood education prepares young learners for academic success and lifelong achievements. Parental engagement in education increases a young child’s developmental outcomes. A national system to govern early childhood education and care guarantees higher caliber early childhood education and care programs and more access to them. This paper explores the necessity for early childhood education, parental engagement, and a nationwide governing system. The information therein was obtained through academic peer reviewed journals, texts, and reliable website articles. A nationwide early childhood education and care governing system will be beneficial to society. Children who attend quality early childhood education and care programs have lifelong positive outcomes, exemplify strong ethical conduct, and social responsibility.
