Pedagogy
Abstract
Teachers are amazing people. They do more for less money than their peers who often graduated with them. Unfortunately, the modern education system in the western world, established in the late 1800’s, has remained fundamentally the same for almost 150 years. While technology has advanced from books and chalkboards to projectors and chrome books, presentation methods have not changed as they should have. In addition, teachers must work through a lot of red tape that can sometimes hinder them more than it helps them. The time to modernize our education system is now, so deregulation is necessary to facilitate much needed change as we work our way into the future. School of Choice might very well be the solution.
