Have you ever wondered what type of relationship fans have with teams or players social media use? Social media has become a very important tool for teams and players to help gain fans or connect with fans, but social media can also be bad for athletes. The theory I will be using is the uses and gratification theory which means people actively pursue particular media to satisfy their own needs.
