Abstract/Description

The emergence of social media brought about a major change in sports viewing culture, and in particular, it had a significant impact on the participation of the younger generation who can use social media well. This study aims to examine the age changes and changed consumption culture of baseball consumption through social media, which have become essential elements of sports. The survey was conducted by collecting and analyzing data with the change in the viewing population by age as the main keyword. It was confirmed that outdoor activities due to the pandemic were proposed, and the younger generation's participation in sports through social media increased. This study suggests the need for alternative measures to make the younger generation introduced through social media a fixed fan base.
