Abstract/Description

This paper seeks to analyze how public relations plays a role in how scandals and tragedies play out in the world of sports, putting particular emphasis on how these events are presented to the public. To analyze this, many sources of particular interest to this particular topic are consulted. What is hoped to be gained by this is a deeper understanding how a news event in the sports world can be "spun". or presented in a way that is beneficial to the organization or people as a whole.
