Abstract/Description

Technology addiction is a morbid and under-discussed subject which encompasses a wide net: social media, media-sharing platforms, smartphone apps, computer apps, video games, and more are key facets.

By analyzing current data in tandem with landmark addiction cases from other industries, we can determine the extent that 1) companies are liable for their design decisions, 2) users are liable for their personal choices, and, 3) what solutions may be effective to remedy technology addiction in the future.
