Living Newspaper is a theatrical genre that came to be in the early 20th century. It is defined by its aim to dramatize the news through a series of short vignette-like scenes. This presentation covers the origins of the genre, as well as how I was inspired to write my own Living Newspaper play covering the major news events of 2020.
