Abstract/Description

This project involves launching a payload containing multiple instruments for data collection at high altitudes (100,000 feet). The main payload consists of a 3D printed model that was designed specifically for the project. Inside it includes GoPro cameras for video recording along with a datalogger for altitude, speed, pressure and humidity. The project will include trackers for payload recovery. This will all be attached to a high altitude balloon and a parachute. The goal is to test the design of payloads for maximum video stability as well as optimize the use of material and time.
