Abstract
Abstract
This paper will discuss how people communicate in present-day American society. It highlights how interpersonal relationships and non-verbal communication contribute meaningfully to influence our communication, verbal and nonverbal. Communication takes place in a myriad of ways, from traditional face-to-face interactions to the fast-developing world of social media.
In addition, our decisions on what to wear can play a significant and unexpected role in how we present ourselves and interact with others. This work seeks to provide a clear overview of these complex and interrelated elements impacting communication in our complex contemporary world, illustrating how each component contributes to the rich tapestry of human interaction.
